Description:

Mrs. Allison Hartshorne, the rich young widow, leads such a blameless life that when she is found murdered in her home it is difficult for the exclusive set with which she moves to imagine any motive for the act. When young Paul Harvey Is put on the case he goes over all her associates, and by the process of elimination weeds them out one by one. Further investigations lead him into Mrs. Hartshome’s past which he finds not so exemplary as her present.
